When I last wrote about Newcity, I expressed concern that, with the new focus on art and culture, feature articles are going to become a thing of the past. But, so far, my worries look unfounded. I've been thinking about Newcity, Chicago's second alternative newspaper, for a while now. It's never been as popular - or as profitable - as Chicago Reader was in its heyday, but it was always worth a read. Earlier this week, Crain's Chicago Business reported that Wrapports, the investment groups that recently acquired Sun-Times newspapers, has acquired the Chicago Reader.
